Iron deficiency anemia is a nutritional disorder in which the blood lacks adequate healthy red blood cells with hemoglobin <11 g/dL.
If you have
– Abnormal uterine bleeding
– Gastrointestinal disease
– Had a gastric bypass surgery
– Or any other conditions leading to hemoglobin <11 g/dL, and oral iron therapy has not worked in the past
You may be eligible for a clinical research trial evaluating the effectiveness of intravenous iron therapy.
Clinical trial treatment and associated medical care will be provided at no cost to study participants.
